Because of the uniqueness of the hippo leather, this boot runs a half size small. Please consider sizing up from your regular size.

Sole: Black Hybrid. These full leather soles are injected with rubber at the ball of the foot where you need it the most. This lightweight, flexible sole is AB's best-selling sole treatment.

About the Leather: Hippo leather is somewhat of a novelty in that it was not commonly seen until a few years ago. In its original state this leather is very thick and heavily scarred.
The outmost grain is removed by sanding until some of the scars are removed. The bottom layer is split off to leave the top grain to be used in boots.
Hippo wears very well under hard use but needs to be occasionally cleaned and conditioned to maximize wear. A brass bristle brush is ideal to remove loose dirt and dust from its suede like finish.
Ladies Sizing: To find your size equivalent in a men's boot, we recommend sizing down 1.5 sizes from your regular size. Ex., if you wear a size 9 in women's, you would want a size 7.5 in men's.

Most orders ship within 24 hours of purchase. Upon shipment, you will receive a confirmation email with carrier and tracking information.
A standard shipping rate of $9 is applied to all U.S. orders (subject to change based on current USPS shipping rates). Rates and shipping times vary for orders placed outside of the U.S.
Returns
We hope you love your purchases! But if for some reason you need to make an exchange or return, please follow these guidelines:
- Returns and exchanges must be made within 20 days of purchase.
- Items must be unworn and in original condition.
- All tags must be attached and original packaging included.
- Pre-orders, custom orders and sale items are final sale.
- Refunds will be issued for the purchase amount, minus the cost of shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
